- 500 g Küchenmeister Spelt Flour T630
- 250 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 125 ml milk
- ½ cube fresh yeast
- pearl sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Dissolve the yeast in the milk.
Place the spelt flour on your work surface and form a well in the middle. Add the eggs and the yeasted milk into the well. Cut the butter in pieces and sprinkle over the spelt flour. Work all the ingredients into a smooth dough.
Roll tablespoon sized dough pieces into a rope. Roll each rope/log in the pearl sugar and cinnamon before forming in flachswickel. Place the flachswickel onto a lined baking sheet and leave for half an hour.
Bake on the middle oven rack, at 200°C (convection) for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
