- 250 g soft butter
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g Küchenmeister wheat flour T405
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preheat oven to 175°C (convection). Grease a springform (22cm diameter) or a square baking pan (20x20cm).
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the egg and mix until well combined. Mix together the flour and baking powder, before adding it to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix everything together until a smooth dough forms. Pour the dough into the prepared form and press firmly so that the entire bottom of the pan is covered.
Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven, before removing the cake from the oven and allowing it to cool. Slice the cake into equal pieces. Finished!
Tip: Boterkoek tastes delicious with the addition of 1 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract!
