- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 250 g sugar
- 200 g Küchenmeister Whole Grain Spelt Flour
- 50 g Küchenmeister Cornstarch
- 1/2 packet baking powder
- 150 g ground hazelnuts
- 150 g grated chocolate
- 1 tbsp. vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 150 ml red wine
- 1 tbsp. rum
- fat for the jars
Cream together the margarine, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar. Combine the flour, corn starch, baking powder, cinnamon, cocoa powder, ground hazelnuts, and grated chocolate, and mix it into the wet ingredients. Gradually add the red wine and rum, mixing until well combined.
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease small jars (around 120ml large) and fill half way with the batter. Bake for 30 minutes.
Turn off the oven and leave the jars for another 5 minutes in the oven. Open the oven door and again leave the jars for 5 minutes. Then remove jars from the oven, allow the cakes to cool briefly, then close the jar with the jar lids.
