Baking mix preparation:
Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt and spices. Cut the candied ginger into small pieces. In a 1 L mason jar layer the ingredients starting with the flour mixture, followed by the cocoa, brown cane sugar, sugar, ginger pieces, and finishing with the chocolate chunks. Close the jar and attach the following baking instructions:
Baking instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line two baking trays with parchment paper. In a bowl cream together 85 g of soft butter with 85 g of honey. Add an egg and stir well. Pour the contents of the jar into the bowl along with 3-4 tablespoons of milk, and mix well. Drop spoonfulls of the dough onto the baking sheets. Bake the trays one after another for ca. 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool briefly on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
