- 200 g Küchenmeister Green Spelt Groats
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 1 bread bun, soaked
- 2 eggs
- 3-5 tbsp. finely chopped onions and parsley
- 10 g butter
- To season: salt, pepper, nutmeg, marjoram,thyme and 2-3 tbsp grated cheese
Pour the hot vegetable stock over the green spelt groats, until a thicker porridge forms. Cover the mixture, and leave to swell for 2 hours. Sauté the parsley and onions in the butter, before combining with the other ingredients. Mix everything into the green spelt mixture. Briefly knead the dough and season with herbs. From the dough form patties, and fry in a pan with oil.
Green spelt patties are a great accompaniment to vegetables or salad.
