- 1 can chickpeas, 240 g drained and rinsed
- 175 g apple sauce
- 55 g cocoa powder
- 150 g Sweet Nature Brown Cane Sugar
- 1 tbsp. coconut milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 30 g shredded coconut
- 150 g dark bitter chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a muffin tray with muffin cups.
Place the chickpeas into a blender and purée until smooth. Now place the remaining ingredients (apart from the chocolate chips and coconut) into the blender and blend until smooth. Stir in 100g chocolate chips. Equally divide the batter between the muffin cups, and sprinkle with the coconut and remaining chocolate.
Bake for 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from the oven, and allow to cool for 10 minutes in the baking tray. Now enjoy your delicious, and healthy, brownies!
