- 160 g Küchenmeister Whole wheat Flour
- 60 g Frießinger Mühle Polenta
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 75 g applesauce
- 75 ml milk
- 240 ml water
- 100 g Küchenmeister Wheat Flour T405
- 65 g butter
- 40 g Sweet Nature Brown Cane Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a muffin tray with muffin cups.
In a bowl combine the ingredients for the streusel and work until crumbly.
For the batter, mix together the flour, polenta, honey, vanilla extract, baking powder and salt. Add the applesauce, milk and water. Mix everything together until well combined. Divide the batter equally among the muffin forms and sprinkle with streusel. Bake the muffins for 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove muffins from oven and cool for 10 minutes in the tray.
