Ingredients and preparation
Preparation: Sift 580 grams of flour into the mixing bowl of the food processor. Mix in 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix 10 grams of yeast with a little sugar and some lukewarm milk, then add to the flour. Turn the machine on to low speed. Stir in 100 grams of softened butter and 1 egg. Gradually pour in the 250 ml of milk, monitoring the dough to determine if it needs more liquid. Let it knead for 10 minutes.
Remove the dough from the bowl, knead briefly with your hands, and shape it into a round ball. Cover and let it rest for 60 minutes.
Divide the dough into 6-8 pieces (depending on the desired size of the buns). Knead each dough piece individually, shape them into rounds, and place them side by side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let them rest for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 215° C top/bottom heat.
Mix the egg with a little milk and brush the rolls with it. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and/or sunflower seeds. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
