Ingredients and preparation
Preparation: Sift 580 g of flour into the mixing bowl of the food processor. Mix in 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix 10 g of yeast with a little sugar and some lukewarm milk and add to the flour. Turn the machine on to low speed. Stir in 100 g softened butter and 1 egg. Gradually pour in the 250 ml of milk. You will need to watch the dough to see if it still needs liquid or not. Let it knead for 10 minutes.
Remove the dough from the bowl, knead briefly with your hands and work it round. Cover and let rest for 60 minutes.
Divide dough into 6-8 pieces (depending on desired size of buns). Knead the dough pieces one at a time, work them round and place them side by side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let rest for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 215° C top/bottom heat.
Mix the egg with a little milk and brush the rolls with it. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and/or sunflower seeds. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
