Ingredients and preparation
Preparation: Sift flour into the mixing bowl and form a well in the center. Dissolve 42 g yeast in 200 ml lukewarm milk and mix with 2 tablespoons sugar. Pour the mixture into the well. Stir a little so that a little flour is incorporated into the mixture. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Add a pinch of salt, 2 eggs and 100 g of softened butter and let everything knead with a food processor, first on low speed, then for 8 minutes on higher speed. Remove the dough from the bowl, knead briefly with your hands, work it round and let it rise, covered, for 60 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 pieces and knead them one by one, work them round and place them side by side on a baking tray lined with baking paper, with the end facing up. Depending on your mood, you can add chocolate chips to the dough. Then let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180° C top/bottom heat.
Mix the egg yolk with a little milk and brush the rolls with it. Depending on your taste, you can sprinkle the rolls with almond leaves, chocolate chips or hail sugar. Then bake the rolls for about 15 minutes, remove them and let them cool on a wire rack.
